Meet Coach Nadia
Nadia Alterio is a Canadian entrepreneur, neuron ninja, marketing consultant, author and former professional athlete. Based out of Kelowna, British Columbia and operating under the moniker “Smart Woman”, Nadia is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to understanding the brain and how retraining the brain (neuroplasticity) is the key to true healing.
Nadia’s credited knowledge, her own personal recovery story, her strong faith and incredible life experience is what makes her unique in this field and able to educate and empower you – to guide you and teach you a new way, to tell you that you’re not broken and to create a safe space that will lead you to the wisdom of understanding your own body and it’s phenomenal healing potential.

In her younger years, Nadia demonstrated incredible willpower, discipline and determination as an athlete, which put her on the map, but little did she know that later in life her mental strength would be challenged to the max after surviving and escaping a controlling and abusive marriage, being told that she had an incurable illness, having her personal identity stolen, and being hit in several car accidents leaving her bed ridden, and struggling with severe anxiety and depression.
It was the loss of an identity that once defined her, but after discovering how trauma affects the brain and physical body through our thoughts, emotions and perceptions, Nadia found a way out and you can too! It didn’t happen overnight, but it was the beginning of a new Nadia, one whose identity is now that of a child of God and a messenger of HOPE – Nadia’s name actually means “hope!”
